🛫 Travel, Points & Miles
💳 Limited-Time $1,000+ Welcome Bonus
The Capital One Venture Rewards Credit Card has a limited-time offer of $250 in travel credit AND a welcome bonus of 75k miles after spending $4k in the first 3 months. The miles are worth at least $750 in free travel (and more if you leverage transfer partners), making the total value at least $1,000. The travel credit can be used through Capital One Travel, where you can also earn 5x miles on hotels and rental cars. On top of that, the Venture card earns 2x on all purchases, which makes it a great card for all your non bonus-category spend.
🛫 Up to 2,500 Bonus Miles on 3 Different Airlines
Alaska, Southwest and United are all offering bonus miles for purchases made through their shopping portals, so if you're already buying something online, it might be a great opportunity for some extra miles.
🏨 Best Uses for IHG’s Free Night Certificates
Last week, I shared a card* that earns 5 free IHG nights after spending $4k in the first 3 months. If you are thinking about getting it (or already did), Frequent Miler recently shared a list of over 60 U.S. locations to redeem your IHG free night certificates. You can find this card offer and all our other favorites on this page: Top Credit Card Offers.
*For compliance reasons, we can’t include names of all cards/banks.

🍱 Free Meal Kit Deals
Meal kit deals might be one of the most unexpected but effective ways to save on your groceries. We discussed this in episode #181 and here are some of the latest deals to get you started:
HelloFresh: 10 free meals + free appetizer for life
Green Chef: 50% off + 20% off for 2 months
Marley Spoon: First box free
CookUnity: 60% off 16 meals

Citi ➡️ Cathay Pacific: 15% (expires today)
Blue Bank ➡️ IHG: 80% (through 7/31)

🕵️ Great Finds
🥤 DRAM: Amazing Natural Herbal Sparkling Water
I've lately been pretty obsessed with DRAM’s zero-calorie, zero-sugar sparkling beverages. They have such unique and amazing flavors – the adaptogenic Mushroom Cola is my favorite, but Cardamom + Black Tea is a close second. Everything is made from real plants and PFOS-tested water. And best of all they helped me put together an All the Hacks Sampler of my favorites and you can get 20% off the whole site here.
📱 Comparing Credit Card Phone Insurance Coverage
One of the best hidden benefits of credit cards is cell phone insurance coverage. Frequent Miler put together a comprehensive chart comparing cell phone insurance offered by various credit cards including coverage limits, deductibles, and other features. If you want to dive deeper on all your hidden card benefits, check out Ep #113.
🧸 Less Toys = More Play + Creativity
I enjoyed reading this article that encourages giving children fewer toys to boost their creativity and resourcefulness. It highlights a study where removing toys from kindergartens led to increased creativity and social interaction among the children. Time to donate some toys!
⚖️ Presumed Innocent
We're five episodes into this new mini-series about a prosecutor who becomes the prime suspect in the murder of one of his colleagues. It's based on the NYT bestselling novel Presumed Innocent by Scott Turow and still has me guessing about how things will play out.
